Description
Auro Alfuzosin (Alfuzosin) is an alpha blocker agent. It is typically used to treat the symptoms of enlarged prostate (benign prostatic hyperplasia or BPH). It may also have other uses.

Auro Alfuzosin (Alfuzosin) is usually given once daily. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed. If you miss a dose, contact your pharmacist. Administer immediately following a meal at the same time each day. WARNING: Alfuzosin may cause increased heart rate or decreased blood pressure, which may affect control of angina symptoms. People with angina (chest pain) should stop using Auro Alfuzosin (Alfuzosin) if their symptoms reappear or become worse. Alfuzosin may cause dizziness with the first few doses, affecting your ability to drive or operate machinery. Avoid driving, operating machinery, or performing other potentially hazardous tasks until you have determined how you are affected by Auro Alfuzosin (Alfuzosin). In addition to its desired action, Auro Alfuzosin (Alfuzosin) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause respiratory infections, dizziness and skin rash. It may cause abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. It may cause impotence, fatigue and pain. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to alfuzosin or any component of the formulation, moderate or severe hepatic or liver impairment, severe renal or kidney impairment, concurrent use with itraconazole and ketoconazole (drugs to treat fungal infections), ritonavir (drug used to treat HIV infections), and other alpha 1-blockers.
