Jamp Amitriptyline (Amitriptyline) is an antidepressant. It is typically used for the treatment of depression. It may also have other uses.

Jamp Amitriptyline (Amitriptyline) is typically used once daily and one hour before bedtime. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed. If you forget a dose, contact your pharmacist. It should be taken with food to decrease stomach upset. WARNING: This medication is not recommended for elderly patients and it should be used with caution in patients with any heart disease or kidney and liver problems. In addition to its desired action, Jamp Amitriptyline (Amitriptyline) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause suicidal ideas, increase risk of fractures, heart problems, eye issues, increase risk of bleeding and depression. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to amitriptyline or any component of the formulation, coadministration with or within 14 days of other antidepressants, severe liver impairment, acute heart failure. Taking Jamp Amitriptyline (Amitriptyline) during pregnancy may be harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. Pregnant women should not use this product. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant or breastfeeding, contact your family doctor.
