Description
Cotazym ECS 8 (Amylase Lipase Protease) is an enzyme agent. It is typically used to treat used people who cannot digest food normally because their pancreas does not make enough enzymes. It may also have other uses.

Cotazym ECS 8 (Amylase Lipase Protease) is typically used with each meal. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed. If you miss a dose, contact your pharmacist. Administer with meals or snacks and swallow whole with a generous amount of liquid. Do not crush or chew, retention in the mouth before swallowing may cause irritation and stomatitis (an inflamed and sore mouth). WARNING: Available brand products are not interchangeable. Use with caution in patients with gout. In addition to its desired action, Cotazym ECS 8 (Amylase Lipase Protease) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause headaches, abdominal pain, infection, neck pain, nasal congestion It may cause dizziness, skin rash, weight loss, diarrhea, flatulence Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to any component of the formulation Taking Cotazym ECS 8 (Amylase Lipase Protease) during pregnancy may be harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. Pregnant women should not use this product.
