Description
Lotriderm (Betamethasone Clotrimazole) is an antifungal agent. It is typically used to treat fungal skin infections. It may also have other uses.

Lotriderm (Betamethasone Clotrimazole) is typically used twice daily. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed. If you forget a dose, contact your pharmacist. For topical use only, not for oral, ophthalmic (eye), or intravaginal use. WARNING: If irritation or hypersensitivity develops with the use of LOTRIDERM Cream, treatment should be discontinued, and appropriate therapy instituted. Use with caution in elderly. In addition to its desired action, Lotriderm (Betamethasone Clotrimazole) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause burning, redness or swelling of the skin. It may cause swelling of the hair follicles, excessive hair growth. It may cause skin redness around the mouth, rash, stretch marks. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to betamethasone, clotrimazole, other corticosteroids or imidazoles (similar agents), or any component of the formulation, untreated bacterial and tubercular skin infections (skin infection), viral diseases (any illness or health condition caused by a virus). Taking Lotriderm (Betamethasone Clotrimazole) during pregnancy may be harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. Pregnant women should not use this product. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant or breastfeeding, contact your family doctor. A treatment with Lotriderm (Betamethasone Clotrimazole) requires regular monitoring by a doctor.
