Description

Betoptic S (Betaxolol) is an antiglaucoma agent. It is typically used to treat open-angle glaucoma (a condition of increased pressure within the eyeball) and other causes of high pressure inside the eye. It may also have other uses.

Additional information

Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed. If you forget a dose, contact your pharmacist. Shake the bottle well, remove the cap from the bottle. Hold the bottle upside down in one hand between your thumb and middle finger. While tilting your head back, gently pull the lower eyelid of your eye down using the forefinger of your other hand. Place the dropper tip close to, but not touching, your lower eyelid and gently tap or press the base of the bottle with your forefinger to release one drop inside the eye. Administer other ophthalmic agents at least 10 minutes prior to instilling betaxolol products.
