Description
Apo Bicalutamide (Bicalutamide) is an anticancer agent. It is typically used for the treatment of prostate cancer. It works by slowing the growth of cancer cells. It may also have other uses.

Apo Bicalutamide (Bicalutamide) is typically used once daily. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed. If you forget a dose, contact your pharmacist. Dose should be taken at the same time each day, either in the morning or in the evening. May be administered with or without food. WARNING: Use with caution in moderate to severe liver impairment, consider periodic monitoring of liver function with prolonged therapy. It may cause breast pain at higher doses. In addition to its desired action, Apo Bicalutamide (Bicalutamide) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause peripheral edema (swelling of legs and hands), pain, hot flushes, gynecomastia (enlargement of the breast in men) It may cause constipation, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, breast pain, low amount of red blood cells in the blood (cells that contain hemoglobin, which carries oxygen to your body's tissues), pelvic pain, infection, back pain, weakness, shortness of breath It may cause some cardiac (heart) problems like increased in blood pressure, chest pain It may cause weight loss, weight gain, increase in blood glucose levels Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to bicalutamide or any component of the formulation, use in women, pregnancy Taking Apo Bicalutamide (Bicalutamide) during pregnancy is harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. Pregnant women should not use this product. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant or breastfeeding, contact your family doctor. A treatment with Apo Bicalutamide (Bicalutamide) requires regular monitoring by a doctor.
