Description
Bosulif (Bosutinib) is an anticancer agent. It is typically used to treat a certain type of blood cancer (chronic myelogenous leukemia-CML). It may also have other uses.

Bosulif (Bosutinib) is typically used once daily. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed. If you forget a dose, contact your pharmacist. Take this drug with food. WARNING: This drug may cause serious heart, liver, gastrointestinal (stomach and intestine) and kidney problems. In addition to its desired action, Bosulif (Bosutinib) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause chest pain, edema (swelling caused by excess fluid trapped in your body's tissues), high blood pressure. It may cause abdominal pain, constipation, decreased appetite, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, cough, fever, dyspnea (shortness of breath), hepatic insufficiency (liver failure). It may cause anemia (a condition in which you lack enough healthy red blood cells to carry adequate oxygen to your body's tissues), skin rash, back pain, headache. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to bosutinib or any component of the formulation. Taking Bosulif (Bosutinib) during pregnancy may be harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. Pregnant women should not use this product. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant or breastfeeding, contact your family doctor. A treatment with Bosulif (Bosutinib) requires regular monitoring by a doctor.
