Description
Botox (Botulinum Toxin Type A) is a neuromuscular blocker agent. It is typically used for the treatment of severe primary axillary hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating in the armpits) by adults, prophylaxis (prevention) of chronic migraine (a throbbing pain is felt only on one side of the head) headaches by adults, and for the temporary improvement in the appearance of moderate to severe forehead lines by adults. It may also have other uses.

Botox (Botulinum Toxin Type A)'s dosage depends on the condition (usual range: 1.25 units-400 units). Your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. It will be given to you by a doctor a hospital or clinical setting. Taking Botox (Botulinum Toxin Type A) during pregnancy may be harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method.
