It may cause bradycardia (slow heart rate), nausea, vomiting, dizziness, somnolence. It may cause blurred vision, tremor (trembling or shaking), headache, dysgeusia (a bad taste in the mouth). Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to bupivacaine hydrochloride, similar agents, or any component of the formulation, intravenous (within a vein) regional anesthesia. Taking Bupivacaine (Bupivacaine) during pregnancy may be harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method.
