Description

Apo Cabergoline (Cabergoline) is anti-prolactin agent. It is typically used to treat different types of medical problems caused by high prolactin levels (a hormone produced by a gland in the brain). It is also used to prevent the onset of normal lactation (milk production) in cases where there is a medical need to prevent lactation. It may also have other uses.

Additional information

Apo Cabergoline (Cabergoline) is typically given once or twice a week. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. It should be taken with food. Swallow the whole tablet with a full glass of water. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often than prescribed. Do not crush, break, or chew. If you miss a dose, contact your pharmacist.

WARNING: Cabergoline may cause psychiatric disorders (e.g., aggression, psychotic behavior, and loss impulse control). Use with caution in patients with heart (cardiovascular) disease, liver disease, stomach bleeding or ulcers (sores), and Raynaud syndrome (reduced blood flow to the fingers).
