Description
PMS Ciprofloxacin (Ciprofloxacin) is an antibiotic. It is typically used for the treatment of the following infections when caused by susceptible bacteria: infections of the skin, sinuses (a cavity within a bone or other tissue, especially one in the bones of the face or skull connecting with the nasal cavities), bone, lung, abdomen, kidney, prostate, and bladder. It may also have other uses.

PMS Ciprofloxacin (Ciprofloxacin) is typically taken twice daily. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often than prescribed. If you miss a dose, contact your pharmacist. May administer with most foods to minimize gut upset, avoid antacid use, maintain proper hydration and urine output. Avoid concomitant administration with dairy products (e.g., milk, yogurt) or calcium-fortified juices alone, however, may be taken with meals that contain these products WARNING: prolonged use may result in fungal or bacterial superinfection (additional infection). Use caution in patients with renal (kidney) impairment, dosage adjustments may be required. In addition to its desired action, PMS Ciprofloxacin (Ciprofloxacin) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause changed sense of smell or taste, dizziness, general feeling of being unwell It may cause increased skin sensitivity to the sun, lightheadedness, loss of appetite Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to ciprofloxacin, any component of the formulation, or other quinolones, concurrent administration of tizanidine Taking PMS Ciprofloxacin (Ciprofloxacin) during pregnancy may be harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. Pregnant women should not use this product.
