Description
SDZ Ciprofloxacin (Ciprofloxacin) is an antibiotic. It is typically used for the treatment of the following infections when caused by susceptible bacteria: infections of the skin, sinuses (a cavity within a bone or other tissue, especially one in the bones of the face or skull connecting with the nasal cavities), bone, lung, abdomen, kidney, prostate, and bladder. It may also have other uses.

SDZ Ciprofloxacin (Ciprofloxacin) is typically taken twice daily. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Your doctor or nurse will administer SDZ Ciprofloxacin (Ciprofloxacin) to you in a hospital or clinical setting. WARNING: prolonged use may result in fungal or bacterial superinfection (additional infection). Use caution in patients with renal (kidney) impairment, dosage adjustments may be required. In addition to its desired action, SDZ Ciprofloxacin (Ciprofloxacin) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause changed sense of smell or taste, dizziness, general feeling of being unwell It may cause increased skin sensitivity to the sun, lightheadedness, loss of appetite Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to ciprofloxacin, any component of the formulation, or other quinolones, concurrent administration of tizanidine Taking SDZ Ciprofloxacin (Ciprofloxacin) during pregnancy may be harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. Pregnant women should not use this product. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant or breastfeeding, contact your family doctor. A treatment with SDZ Ciprofloxacin (Ciprofloxacin) requires regular monitoring by a doctor.
