Description
Teva Cloxacillin (Cloxacillin) is an antibiotic. It is typically used to treat bacterial infections of the skin, bone, heart valve, blood, and lung. It may also have other uses.

Teva Cloxacillin (Cloxacillin)'s dosage depends on the condition being treated. Your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed. If you miss a dose, contact your pharmacist. Administer with or without food. WARNING: Use with caution in patients with renal (kidney) impairment. Use with caution in patients with a history of seizure disorders (episodes of uncontrolled electrical activity in the brain). Serious and occasionally fatal hypersensitivity (anaphylactoid) reactions have been reported in patients receiving penicillin therapy. If an allergic or anaphylactic reaction occurs, discontinue the treatment. In addition to its desired action, Teva Cloxacillin (Cloxacillin) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, fever. It may cause diarrhea, skin rash, low blood pressure, confusion. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to cloxacillin, similar agents or any component of the formulation. Animal reproduction studies have failed to demonstrate a risk to the fetus and there are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant or breastfeeding, contact your family doctor. A treatment with Teva Cloxacillin (Cloxacillin) requires regular monitoring by a doctor.
