Description
PMS Sodium Cromoglycate (Cromoglycate) is an antiasthmatic agent. It is typically used to treat asthma (long-term disease of the lungs) and to prevent breathing problems that happen with exercise. It may also have other uses.

PMS Sodium Cromoglycate (Cromoglycate) is typically used four times daily, when adequate response has been obtained, the frequency of inhalation may be reduced to once every 8 to 12 hours. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often than prescribed. If you miss a dose, contact your pharmacist. For breathing in only as a liquid (solution) by a special machine (nebulizer). WARNING: Treatment with this drug must not be discontinued abruptly especially when benefit has been obtained. If troublesome symptoms recur, particularly breathlessness at rest, the patient should be advised to consult his physician immediately in order that additional measures can be instituted if necessary. In addition to its desired action, PMS Sodium Cromoglycate (Cromoglycate) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause throat irritation, bad taste in mouth, cough. It may cause nausea, stomach pain. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to cromoglycate or any component of the formulation. Animal reproduction studies have failed to demonstrate a risk to the fetus and there are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant or breastfeeding, contact your family doctor. A treatment with PMS Sodium Cromoglycate (Cromoglycate) requires regular monitoring by a doctor.
