Description
Cambia (Diclofenac) is a painkiller agent. It is typically used for the treatment of migraine attacks by adults. It may also have other uses.

Cambia (Diclofenac) is typically taken twice daily. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed. If you miss a dose, contact your pharmacist. Taking CAMBIA with food may cause a reduction in effectiveness compared to taking CAMBIA on an empty stomach. Open one (single-dose) 50 mg packet. Empty contents of packet into 1 or 2 ounces of water. Mix well and drink the water and powder mixture immediately. WARNING: It can cause an increased risk of serious (and potentially fatal) adverse cardiovascular thrombotic events, including MI (heart attack) and stroke. Risk may occur early during treatment and may increase with duration of use. It can cause an increased risk of serious stomach and intestinal inflammation, bleeding, and perforation (may be fatal), elderly patients and patients with history of stomach and intestinal bleeding are at greater risk. These events may occur at anytime during therapy and without warning In addition to its desired action, Cambia (Diclofenac) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause edema (swelling) It may cause constipation, nausea It may cause hypertension (high blood pressure) It may cause diaphoresis (excessive sweating), pruritus (itching), skin rash Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to diclofenac or any component of the formulation, history of asthma (a respiratory condition marked by attacks of spasm in the bronchi of the lungs, causing difficulty in breathing), urticaria (hives), or other allergic-type reactions after taking aspirin or other painkillers, use in the setting of CABG surgery (a procedure used to treat coronary artery disease, meaning heart disease) Taking Cambia (Diclofenac) during pregnancy may be harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. Pregnant women should not use this product. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant or breastfeeding, contact your family doctor. A treatment with Cambia (Diclofenac) requires regular monitoring by a doctor.
