Description

PMS Diclofenac (Diclofenac) is a painkiller agent. It is typically used for the treatment of osteoarthritis (a type of arthritis (the swelling and tenderness of one or more of your joints) caused by inflammation, breakdown, and eventual loss of cartilage in the joints) pain of the knee. It may also have other uses.

Additional information

PMS Diclofenac (Diclofenac) is typically applied as 40 drops to each affected knee up to 4 times daily. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed. If you miss a dose, contact your pharmacist. Apply 10 drops at a time either directly onto knee or into hand then onto knee (helps avoid spillage). Spread evenly around knee (front, back, sides). Repeat procedure until total dose applied and the knee is completely covered with solution. Apply to clean, dry, intact skin, do not apply to eyes, mucous membranes, or open wounds. Wash hands before and after use. Do not shower or bathe for ≥30 minutes after applying. Allow knee to dry before applying clothing. Do not apply heat or occlusive dressing to treated knee, protect treated knee from sunlight. Cosmetics, insect repellent, lotion, moisturizer, sunscreens, or other topical medication may be applied to treated knee once solution has dried.

WARNING: It can cause an increased risk of serious (and potentially fatal) adverse cardiovascular thrombotic events, including heart attack and stroke. Risk may occur early during treatment and may increase with duration of use. It can cause an increased risk of serious gut inflammation, ulceration (lesions), bleeding, and perforation (may be fatal), elderly patients and patients with history of peptic ulcer disease (a condition in which painful sores or ulcers develop in the lining of the stomach or the first part of the small intestine) and/or gut bleeding are at greater risk for serious gut events
