Description
Gravol taste free liquid gel capsules (Dimenhydrinate) is an anti-emetic agent. It is typically used to prevent and treat nausea, vomiting, and dizziness due to motion sickness. It may also have other uses.

Gravol taste free liquid gel capsules (Dimenhydrinate) is typically given to adults as 1 or 2 capsules every 4 hours as needed. However, your pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. The first dose should be taken at least 30 minutes and preferably 1 or 2 hours before traveling. It can be taken with or without food. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often than prescribed. If you miss a dose, contact your pharmacist. WARNING: Adults should not take more than 8 capsules in 24 hours. Drowsiness may occur, therefore do not drive or engage in activities requiring alertness. Excitability may occur, especially in children. Avoid alcoholic drinks as they may add to the side effects of Gravol. This medication may also cause the symptoms of glaucoma (increased pressure in the eye) to become worse. In addition to its desired action, Gravol taste free liquid gel capsules (Dimenhydrinate) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause constipation, dry mouth, or lack of energy. It may cause dizziness or drowsiness. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to dimenhydrinate or any component of the formulation, chronic lung diseases, patients who have difficulty passing urine due to an enlarged prostate (prostate hypertrophy), glaucoma (increased pressure inside the eye). Animal reproduction studies have failed to demonstrate a risk to the fetus and there are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women.
