Description
Apo Doxazosin (Doxazosin) is an antihypertensive agent. It is typically used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). It may also have other uses.

Apo Doxazosin (Doxazosin) is typically used once daily. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed. If you miss a dose, contact your pharmacist. Administer without regard to meals at the same time each day WARNING: Patients must be cautioned about performing tasks that require mental alertness (e.g., operating machinery or driving). Use with caution in patients with heart disease, mild to moderate liver impairment, monitor blood pressure and for symptoms of hypotension (low blood pressure). Not recommended in severe liver impairment. Rule out prostate cancer before beginning therapy In addition to its desired action, Apo Doxazosin (Doxazosin) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause dizziness, lightheadedness, drowsiness, malaise, headache, unusual tiredness, or weight gain It may cause edema (swelling), hypotension (low blood pressure), abdominal pain, weakness Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to doxazosin, prazosin, terazosin (and similar agents), or any component of the formulation. Taking Apo Doxazosin (Doxazosin) during pregnancy may be harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. Pregnant women should not use this product. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant or breastfeeding, contact your family doctor. A treatment with Apo Doxazosin (Doxazosin) requires regular monitoring by a doctor. Be sure to see your doctor for all regularly scheduled appointments.Apo Doxazosin (Doxazosin)
