Description
Auro Efavirenz (Efavirenz) is an antiviral agent. It is typically used in combination with other antiviral agents to treat the infection caused by the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). HIV is the virus responsible for acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS). It may also have other uses.

Auro Efavirenz (Efavirenz) is typically used once daily. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed. If you forget a dose, contact your pharmacist. Administer this drug on an empty stomach. Dosing at bedtime is recommended to limit side effects. WARNING: Use with caution in patients with a history of mental illness (health conditions involving changes in emotion, thinking or behavior). Use with caution in patients with hepatic (liver) problems. Use with caution in patients with a history of seizure disorders (a sudden, uncontrolled electrical disturbance in the brain). In addition to its desired action, Auro Efavirenz (Efavirenz) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause dizziness (weak or unsteady), depression (a common mental disorder), insomnia (inability to sleep), anxiety (a feeling of worry). It may cause skin rash, fever, swelling of your face. It may cause increased serum cholesterol, lack of concentration, fatigue, headache. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to efavirenz or any component of the formulation, concurrent administration with elbasvir or grazoprevir. Taking Auro Efavirenz (Efavirenz) during pregnancy may be harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. Pregnant women should not use this product. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant or breastfeeding, contact your family doctor.
