Description
Ergonovine Maleate (Ergonovine) is an ergot alkaloids agent (agent that cause direct smooth muscle contraction). It is typically used to stop or treat bleeding that happens after a birth or an abortion (termination of pregnancy). It may also have other uses.

Taking Ergonovine Maleate (Ergonovine) during pregnancy may be harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method.
