Description
Mar Fluconazole (Fluconazole) is an antifungal agent. It is typically used for the single-dose treatment of vaginal candidiasis (yeast infections due to the yeast known as Candida) and is clinically proven to cure most vaginal yeast infections. It may also have other uses.

Mar Fluconazole (Fluconazole) is typically used as a single oral dose. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed. If you forget a dose, contact your pharmacist. Take Mar Fluconazole (Fluconazole) with or without food or as directed by your doctor. WARNING: Do not take more than one dose for this infection. If your symptoms have not improved within 3 days and disappeared in 7 days, contact your doctor. There is no need to adjust single-dose therapy for vaginal candidiasis because of impaired renal (kidney) function. Caution should be used when co-administering fluconazole with astemizole (allergy drug). Patients should be carefully monitored. In addition to its desired action, Mar Fluconazole (Fluconazole) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause headaches, nausea, abdominal pain, diarrhea Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to fluconazole or any component of the formulation. Co-administration of cisapride is contraindicated in patients receiving fluconazole. Taking Mar Fluconazole (Fluconazole) during pregnancy may be harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. Pregnant women should not use this product. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant or breastfeeding, contact your family doctor. A treatment with Mar Fluconazole (Fluconazole) requires regular monitoring by a doctor.
