Description
Apo Fluvoxamine (Fluvoxamine) is an antidepressant. It is typically used to treat depression and obsessive-compulsive disorder, OCD (disorder in which people have recurring, unwanted thoughts, ideas or sensations that make them feel driven to do something repetitively). It helps to reduce anxiety and unpleasant thoughts associated with OCD and improves mood by treating depression. It may also have other uses.

Apo Fluvoxamine (Fluvoxamine) is typically used one to two times per day. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed. If you forget a dose, contact your pharmacist. May be administered with or without food. WARNING: Antidepressants increase the risk of suicidal thinking and behavior in children, adolescents, and young adults (18 to 24 years of age) with major depressive disorder (MDD) and other psychiatric disorders. Worsening depression and severe abrupt suicidality that are not part of the presenting symptoms may require discontinuation or modification of drug therapy. Use caution in high-risk patients during initiation of therapy. The patient's family or caregiver should be alerted to monitor patients for the emergence of suicidality and associated behaviors such as anxiety, agitation, panic attacks, insomnia, irritability, hostility, impulsivity, patients should be instructed to notify their healthcare provider if any of these symptoms or worsening depression occur. In addition to its desired action, Apo Fluvoxamine (Fluvoxamine) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause headaches, insomnia, drowsiness, dizziness, nervousness, nausea, diarrhea, dry mouth, lack or loss of appetite It may cause weakness, ejaculatory disorder It may cause cardiac problems, decreased libido, constipation, abdominal pain. It may cause pain, anxiety, abnormal dreams. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to fluvoxamine or any component of the formulation. Concurrent use with alosetron, pimozide, thioridazine, or tizanidine, use of MAO inhibitors intended to treat psychiatric disorders (concurrently or within 14 days of discontinuing either fluvoxamine or the MAO inhibitor), initiation of fluvoxamine in a patient receiving linezolid or intravenous methylene blue. Taking Apo Fluvoxamine (Fluvoxamine) during pregnancy may be harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. Pregnant women should not use this product. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant or breastfeeding, contact your family doctor.
