Apo Ibuprofen (Ibuprofen) is a painkiller agent. It is typically used for the treatment of mild to moderate pain, as well as fever. It may also have other uses.

Apo Ibuprofen (Ibuprofen) is typically used three to four times daily. However, your pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed. If you miss a dose, contact your pharmacist. Administer with food or milk WARNING: It may cause an increased risk of serious (and potentially fatal) adverse cardiovascular thrombotic events, including fatal MI (heart attack) and stroke. Risk may occur early during treatment and may increase with duration of use. It may cause an increased risk of serious stomach and intestinal inflammation, bleeding, and perforation (may be fatal), elderly patients and patients with history of peptic ulcer disease (lesion in the stomach and intestine) and/or stomach and intestinal bleeding are at greater risk. These events may occur at anytime during therapy and without warning. In addition to its desired action, Apo Ibuprofen (Ibuprofen) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause increased serum alanine aminotransferase, increased serum aspartate aminotransferase (liver damage) It may cause edema (swelling) It may cause dizziness, headache, nervousness It may cause skin rash, pruritus (itching) Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to ibuprofen (serious skin reactions) or any component of the formulation, history of asthma, urticaria (hives), or allergic-type reaction to aspirin or other NSAIDs (similar agents), aspirin triad (e.g., bronchial asthma (a respiratory condition marked by attacks of spasm in the bronchi of the lungs, causing difficulty in breathing), aspirin intolerance, rhinitis (runny nose and stuffiness)), use in the setting of coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery DURING THE FIRST 6 MONTHS: If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant or breastfeeding, contact your family doctor. Taking Apo Ibuprofen (Ibuprofen) during the last trimester of the pregnancy may be harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method.
