Description
Onbrez Breezhaler (Indacaterol) is a bronchodilator agent. It is typically used to treat COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, a group of lung conditions that cause breathing difficulties). It may also have other uses.

Onbrez Breezhaler (Indacaterol) is typically used once daily. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often than prescribed. If you miss a dose, contact your pharmacist. Onbrez Breezhaler capsules must be administered only by the oral inhalation route and only using the Onbrez Breezhaler inhaler. Capsules must not be swallowed. Capsules must always be stored in the blister to protect from moisture, and only removed IMMEDIATELY before use. Discard any capsules that are exposed to air and not used immediately. WARNING: Use with caution in patients with cardiovascular (heart) disease. Use with caution in patients with hypokalemia (deficiency of potassium in the bloodstream). Use with caution in patients with diabetes mellitus (high blood sugar level). Use with caution in patients with seizure (a sudden, uncontrolled electrical disturbance in the brain). In addition to its desired action, Onbrez Breezhaler (Indacaterol) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause cough, headache, irritation or pain of the mouth or throat. It may cause muscle cramps, nausea, upper respiratory tract infections. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to indacaterol or any component of the formulation, monotherapy (used alone) in the treatment of asthma (a disease that affects your lungs). Taking Onbrez Breezhaler (Indacaterol) during pregnancy may be harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. Pregnant women should not use this product. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant or breastfeeding, contact your family doctor.
