Description
Apo Lamotrigine (Lamotrigine) is an anticonvulsant agent. It is typically used to treat certain types of seizures. It may also have other uses.

Apo Lamotrigine (Lamotrigine) is typically used once daily. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed. If you forget a dose, contact your pharmacist. Take it with or without food. WARNING: Patients must be cautioned about performing tasks that require mental alertness (e.g., operating machinery or driving). Use caution in patients with heart disease, hepatic (liver) impairment, dosage adjustment may be required. Use with caution in patients with renal (kidney) impairment, dosage adjustment may be required In addition to its desired action, Apo Lamotrigine (Lamotrigine) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause nausea, insomnia, runny nose, headache, diarrhea, abnormal dreams, dizziness or drowsiness. It may cause chest pain, edema, increased libido, weight gain, weight loss It may cause abdominal pain, constipation, vomiting, dry mouth, infection, pain, back pain, muscle pain, neck pain It may cause visual disturbance, shortness of breath Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to lamotrigine or any component of the formulation Taking Apo Lamotrigine (Lamotrigine) during pregnancy may be harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. Pregnant women should not use this product. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant or breastfeeding, contact your family doctor. A treatment with Apo Lamotrigine (Lamotrigine) requires regular monitoring by a doctor.
