Description
Auro Levetiracetam (Levetiracetam) is an antiepileptic agent. It is typically used to treat and prevent seizures associated with epilepsy (a neurological disorder causing seizures or periods of unusual behavior, sensations, and sometimes loss of awareness). It may also have other uses.

Auro Levetiracetam (Levetiracetam) is typically given twice a day. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. It can be taken with or without food. Swallow the whole tablet with a full glass of water. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often than prescribed. Do not crush, break, or chew. If you miss a dose, contact your pharmacist. WARNING: Levetiracetam should not be stopped abruptly because of the possibility of increasing seizure frequency and status epilepticus (a continuous seizure lasting more than 30 minutes, or two or more seizures without full recovery of consciousness between any of them). Use with caution in patients with kidney disease, the dose should be adjusted accordingly. In addition to its desired action, Auro Levetiracetam (Levetiracetam) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause mood or behavior changes (e.g., aggression, hostility, rage, anxiety, excitation), fatigue, dizziness, drowsiness, or loss of memory or problems with memory. It may cause a decreased appetite, nausea, vomiting, or constipation. It may cause infections such as the common cold, or weakness. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to Levetiracetam or any component of the formulation. Taking Auro Levetiracetam (Levetiracetam) during pregnancy may be harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. Pregnant women should not use this product. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant or breastfeeding, contact your family doctor. A treatment with Auro Levetiracetam (Levetiracetam) requires regular monitoring by a doctor.
