Description
SDZ Linezolid (Linezolid) is an antibiotic. It is typically used for the treatment of several infections including: lung infections, skin infections. that can not be treated with other antibiotics because of bacterial resistance. It may also have other uses.

SDZ Linezolid (Linezolid) is an antibiotic typically used twice daily for the treatment of several infections including: lung infections, skin infections. that can not be treated with other antibiotics because of bacterial resistance. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed. If you miss a dose, contact your pharmacist. Administer with or without food. WARNING: prolonged use may result in fungal or bacterial superinfection (additional infection), use with caution in patients having high blood pressure, certain type of cancers, brain diseases and thyroid (gland in the neck) diseases. In addition to its desired action, SDZ Linezolid (Linezolid) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause diarrhea, abdominal pain, flatulence and nausea. It may cause skin rash, allergies, fungal infections. It may cause decreased white blood cell count (blood problems) Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to linezolid or any component of the formulation, concurrent use or within 2 weeks of MAO inhibitors (a class of medication used to treat depression). It is not recommended to be used in patients having certain cardiac (heart) diseases like uncontrolled increase in blood pressure, certain thyroid gland (gland in the neck) disease and concomitant use of several antidepressants. Taking SDZ Linezolid (Linezolid) during pregnancy may be harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. Pregnant women should not use this product. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant, contact your family doctor. A treatment with SDZ Linezolid (Linezolid) requires regular monitoring by a doctor. Be sure to see your doctor for all regularly scheduled appointments.SDZ Linezolid (Linezolid)
