Description
Apo Meloxicam (Meloxicam) is a painkiller agent. It is typically used for the relief of osteoarthritis (a condition that causes joints to become painful and stiff) or for rheumatoid arthritis (a condition where the immunity attacks your joints, causing pain and inflammation). It may also have other uses.

Apo Meloxicam (Meloxicam) is typically used once daily. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often than prescribed. If you miss a dose, contact your pharmacist. Administer with or without meals, administer with food or milk to minimize stomach and intestinal irritation. WARNING: It may cause an increased risk of serious (and potentially fatal) adverse cardiovascular thrombotic events, including fatal MI (heart attack) and stroke. Risk may occur early during treatment and may increase with duration of use. It may cause an increased risk of serious stomach and intestinal inflammation, bleeding, and perforation (may be fatal), elderly patients and patients with history of peptic ulcer disease (lesion in the stomach and intestine) and/or stomach and intestinal bleeding are at greater risk. These events may occur at anytime during therapy and without warning. In addition to its desired action, Apo Meloxicam (Meloxicam) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause constipation, diarrhea. It may cause dizziness or lightheadedness. It may cause drowsiness, flushing. It may cause gas/flatulence (gas), headache, indigestion. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to meloxicam or any component of the formulation, history of asthma (a respiratory condition marked by attacks of spasm in the bronchi of the lungs, causing difficulty in breathing), urticaria (hives), or other allergic-type reactions after taking aspirin or other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (similar agents), use in the setting of coronary artery bypass graft surgery, Taking Apo Meloxicam (Meloxicam) during pregnancy may be harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. Pregnant women should not use this product. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant or breastfeeding, contact your family doctor. A treatment with Apo Meloxicam (Meloxicam) requires regular monitoring by a doctor.
