Description

Buckley’s Lozenges Menthol (Menthol) is a decongestant agent. It is typically used for the fast relief of sore throat, dry cough and nasal and sinus congestion (the result of inflamed nasal and sinus passages). It may also have other uses.

Additional information

Buckley’s Lozenges Menthol (Menthol) is given for adults and children above the age of 6 years old. The lozenge should be dissolved slowly in the mouth as required. The maximum dose is 8 lozenges per 24 hours. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed. If you miss a dose, contact your pharmacist. Administer with or without food.
 
WARNING: Consult a doctor if sore throat is severe or lasts more than 2 days, or if cough worsens, lasts more than 7 days or is accompanied by high fever. Do not use if bag is open. These events may occur at anytime during therapy and without warning.
 
In addition to its desired action, Buckley’s Lozenges Menthol (Menthol) may cause some side effects, notably:
It may cause tingling, burning and tingling sensation of skin.
 
Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to menthol or any component of the formulation. Do not five for children under the age of 6 years old.
 
Animal reproduction studies have failed to demonstrate a risk to the fetus and there are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant or breastfeeding, contact your family doctor.Buckley’s Lozenges Menthol (Menthol)
