Description
Pataday (Olopatadine) is an anti-allergy agent. It is typically used for the treatment of ocular itching associated with allergic conjunctivitis (an allergic reaction affecting the eyes, such as itchy eyes, red eyes, and swelling of the surface of the eye). It may also have other uses.

Pataday (Olopatadine) is typically used once daily. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often than prescribed. If you miss a dose, contact your pharmacist. Wash hands prior to use. Do not touch tip of container to eye. After instilling drops, wait ≥10 minutes before inserting contact lenses. Do not insert contacts if eyes are red. If using other eye drops, wait at least 5 minutes before administering other eye drops. WARNING: Not for use to treat contact lens-related irritation In addition to its desired action, Pataday (Olopatadine) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause headaches It may cause cold symptoms It may cause back pain, weakness It may cause abnormal sensation in eyes, blurred vision Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to olopatadine hydrochloride or any component of the formulation. Taking Pataday (Olopatadine) during pregnancy may be harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. Pregnant women should not use this product. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant or breastfeeding, contact your family doctor. A treatment with Pataday (Olopatadine) requires regular monitoring by a doctor.
