Description
Mint Perindopril (Perindopril) is an antihypertensive agent. It is typically used typically for the management of hypertension (high blood pressure) and for the reduction of the risk of mortality due to coronary artery disease (when the arteries supplying blood to the heart narrow or harden from the buildup of plaque. Plaque is made up of fat, cholesterol and other substances found in the blood). It may also have other uses.

Mint Perindopril (Perindopril) is typically used typically once daily for the management of hypertension (high blood pressure) and for the reduction of the risk of mortality due to coronary artery disease (when the arteries supplying blood to the heart narrow or harden from the buildup of plaque. Plaque is made up of fat, cholesterol and other substances found in the blood). However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed. If you miss a dose, contact your pharmacist. It should be taken in the morning ideally 30 to 60 minutes before breakfast. WARNING: It should be used with caution in patient having kidney, liver and cardiac (heart) diseases. Periodically monitor blood cell counts in patients on Perindopril with kidney disease, since they might be impacted. In addition to its desired action, Mint Perindopril (Perindopril) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause headaches, cough, water retention, chest pain. It may cause weakness, arm pain, leg pain, depression and sleep disorders. It may cause diarrhea, flatulence (gas), vomiting and nausea. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity (e.g., angioedema: swelling, of the area beneath the skin or mucosa. It is normally an allergic reaction, but it can also be hereditary) to Perindopril, other ACE inhibitors (similar agents), or any component of the formulation. Taking Mint Perindopril (Perindopril) during pregnancy may be harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. Pregnant women should not use this product. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant, contact your family doctor.
