Description
Polysporin Eye & Ear Drops (Polymyxin B Gramicidin) is a sterile antibiotic agent. It is typically used for the treatment of external infections of the eye / ear. It may also have other uses.

Polysporin Eye & Ear Drops (Polymyxin B Gramicidin) is typically used as follows: For eye infections, apply 1 – 2 POLYSPORIN EYE & EAR DROPS in the affected eye 4 time a day, for 7 – 10 days. Eye drops are suitable for all ages. For ear infections, apply 1 – 2 POLYSPORIN EYE & EAR DROPS in the affected ear 4 times a day for 5 – 7 days. For ear infections, a doctor should be consulted before treating children under 6. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed. If you forget a dose, contact your pharmacist. WARNING: If irritation occurs or in case of serious infection or if infection has not started to clear in 2 days, discontinue use and consult a doctor. Consult doctor before use if the cause of the pink eye is unclear, or if there is a marked sensation of something in the eye, sensitivity to light, continuous, abundant discharge, pain in the eye, impaired vision, severe hearing loss, severe pain in the ear or fever. In addition to its desired action, Polysporin Eye & Ear Drops (Polymyxin B Gramicidin) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause rash or hives, difficulty breathing, or swelling of the mouth, lips, tongue, or throat. Contraindications: Do not use Polysporin Eye & Ear Drops (Polymyxin B Gramicidin) if you are allergic to polymyxin B sulfate, gramicidin, or any ingredients of the medication. Taking Polysporin Eye & Ear Drops (Polymyxin B Gramicidin) during pregnancy may be harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. Pregnant women should not use this product. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant or breastfeeding, contact your family doctor. A treatment with Polysporin Eye & Ear Drops (Polymyxin B Gramicidin) requires regular monitoring by a doctor.
