Description
Rupall (Rupatadine) is an antiallergic agent. It is typically used for the treatment of allergic rhinitis (an allergic reaction that causes sneezing, congestion, itchy nose and sore throat) and urticaria (skin reaction) by adults and adolescents (over 12 years of age). It may also have other uses.

Rupall (Rupatadine) is typically used once daily. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often than prescribed. If you miss a dose, contact your pharmacist. Administer this drug with or without food. WARNING: This medication can cause abnormal heart rhythms. Use with caution in patients at increased risk for arrhythmias (a problem with the rate or rhythm of the heartbeat). Use with caution in elderly. Use with caution in patients with liver or kidney problems. In addition to its desired action, Rupall (Rupatadine) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause diarrhea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth, headache, nausea, red eyes. It may cause tiredness, vomiting, sensation of weakness, abnormal blood test results. Contraindications: if you are allergic to rupatadine or any ingredients of the medication, if you are taking other certain other medications that are broken down in the liver, including but not limited to: ketoconazole, itraconazole, erythromycin, diltiazem, "statin" medications to lower cholesterol. If you have a history of irregular heart beats, if you have hereditary problems of galactose (sugar) intolerance, if you have hereditary problems of fructose (sugar) intolerance. Taking Rupall (Rupatadine) during pregnancy may be harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. Pregnant women should not use this product. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant or breastfeeding, contact your family doctor. A treatment with Rupall (Rupatadine) requires regular monitoring by a doctor.
