Description

Hylo Gel (Sodium Hyaluronate) is a lubricating eye drop. It is typically used to offer an immediate relief of dry eyes symptoms and to protect your eyes from dryness and irritation. It may also have other uses.

Additional information

Hylo Gel (Sodium Hyaluronate) is typically used three times daily into each eye. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed. If you forget a dose, contact your pharmacist. If you use any other eye drop medication or eye-ointment, please allow at least 30 minutes between applications. HYLO can be used for up to 6 months after the bottle has been opened.
WARNING: HYLO-GEL relieves the symptoms in case of more severe or persistent dry eyes sensation. As with all eye drops a temporary blurring of vision directly after application may occur, which may affect the ability to drive and use machines. Therefore, patients are advised to wait for a moment until vision is no longer impaired before driving or using machines.
In addition to its desired action, Hylo Gel (Sodium Hyaluronate) may cause some side effects, notably:
It may cause red eyes, burning eyes, itchy eyes. Contraindications: HYLO should not be used if you are sensitive to any of the ingredients.
Taking Hylo Gel (Sodium Hyaluronate) during pregnancy may be harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. Pregnant women should not use this product. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant or breastfeeding, contact your family doctor. A treatment with Hylo Gel (Sodium Hyaluronate) requires regular monitoring by a doctor. Be sure to see your doctor for all regularly scheduled appointments.Hylo Gel (Sodium Hyaluronate)
