Description
Cialis (Tadalafil) is typically used to treat erectile dysfunction (male impotence). It works only with sexual stimulation and does not increase sexual desire. It is also used to treat symptoms of benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH) in men with enlarged prostates. It relieves symptoms such as the frequent need to urinate, painful urination, or the sensation of not completely emptying the bladder. Tadalafil may be used to treat men who experience both erectile dysfunction and BPH. It may also have other uses.

Cialis (Tadalafil) is typically taken once daily. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often than prescribed. If you miss a dose, contact your pharmacist. May be administered with or without food. This medication has been shown to be effective within 30 minutes of taking the tablet, and last up to 36 hours later. This will vary from person to person, starting sexual activity at different times after taking the tablet will determine the optimal time for sexual activity. WARNING: Patients experiencing anginal chest pain after tadalafil administration should seek immediate medical attention. In addition to its desired action, Cialis (Tadalafil) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause back pain, facial flushing It may cause headaches, indigestion or stomach discomfort following meals It may cause memory problems, muscle ache It may cause nasal congestion (stuffy nose) Contraindications: Serious hypersensitivity to tadalafil or any component of the formulation, concurrent use of organic nitrate, such as nitroglycerin and isosorbide (regularly and/or intermittently) or guanylate cyclase stimulators (e.g., riociguat).
