Description
Taro Temozolomide (Temozolomide) is an anticancer agent. It is typically used to treat certain types of brain tumors (brain cancer). It may also have other uses.

Taro Temozolomide (Temozolomide) is typically used once daily. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed. If you forget a dose, contact your pharmacist. Capsules are taken by mouth, on an empty stomach, at least one hour before a meal. Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water. Do not open or chew the capsule. WARNING: Use with caution in patients with renal (kidney) problems. Use with caution in patients with hepatic (liver) problems. In addition to its desired action, Taro Temozolomide (Temozolomide) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause anemia (reduction in blood cells), alopecia (hair loss), skin rash. It may cause nausea, vomiting, constipation, diarrhea, weight gain, muscle weakness. It may cause fatigue, headache, dizziness, fever, sleep disorders, blurred vision. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to temozolomide or any component of the formulation, hypersensitivity to dacarbazine (anticancer drug). Taking Taro Temozolomide (Temozolomide) during pregnancy may be harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. Pregnant women should not use this product. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant or breastfeeding, contact your family doctor.
