Description
Apo Teriflunomide (Teriflunomide) is an immunomodulatory agent (agent that stimulates or suppresses the immune system). It is typically used to treat relapsing forms (disease that returns in a new attack after an interval of improvement) of multiple sclerosis (a potentially disabling disease of the brain and spinal cord) by adults. It may also have other uses.

Apo Teriflunomide (Teriflunomide) is typically used once daily. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed. If you forget a dose, contact your pharmacist. It can be taken with or without food. WARNING: Use with caution in patients with pre-existing liver dysfunction, monitor liver enzymes routinely. In addition to its desired action, Apo Teriflunomide (Teriflunomide) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause alopecia (hair loss), increased liver enzymes, paresthesia (an abnormal sensation of the skin). It may cause diarrhea, nausea, nausea, phosphatemia (elevated level of phosphate in the blood). It may cause headaches, hypertension (high blood pressure), upper respiratory tract infections. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to teriflunomide, or any component of the formulation, severe liver impairment, coadministration with leflunomide, pregnant women, females of reproductive potential not using effective contraception. Taking Apo Teriflunomide (Teriflunomide) during pregnancy is contraindicated and harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. Pregnant women should not use this product. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant or breastfeeding, contact your family doctor.
