Description
Thiamiject (Thiamine) is a vitamin. It is typically used in the treatment of thiamine (vitamin B1) deficiency. It may also have other uses.

Thiamiject (Thiamine)'s dosage depends on the condition being treated. Your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a schedule that is more appropriate for you. Your doctor or nurse will administer Thiamiject (Thiamine) to you in a hospital or clinical setting. WARNING: This product contains aluminum that may be toxic. Aluminum may reach toxic levels with prolonged parenteral administration (through injection) of Thiamiject if kidneys function is impaired. In addition to its desired action, Thiamiject (Thiamine) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause coughing, difficulty in swallowing, restlessness. It may cause swelling of face and lips, hypersensitivity reaction. It may cause difficulty in breathing, weakness. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to thiamine or any component of the formulation. Adequate and well-controlled studies have failed to demonstrate a risk to the fetus in the first trimester of pregnancy (and there is no evidence of risk in later trimester).
