Additional information
SDZ Tobramycin (Tobramycin) is typically taken as one ampule inhaled twice a day for 28 days. The doses should be used as close to 12 hours apart as possible, and no less than 6 hours apart. After 28 days, SDZ Tobramycin (Tobramycin) should be stopped for the next 28 days and then restarted for the next 28 days. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Each dose should be given with the hand-held reusable nebulizer provided to you. Do not dilute or mix This medication with other medications in the nebulizer. If you are using other medications that require a nebulizer, use them first, then use SDZ Tobramycin (Tobramycin). Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often than prescribed. If you miss a dose, contact your pharmacist. WARNING: As with other antibiotics, tobramycin inhalation can cause a severe form of diarrhea associated with a condition known as pseudomembranous colitis. Occasionally, inhaled medications may cause the airways to spasm and close up, making breathing even more difficulty (bronchospasm) and can be life-threatening. This medication may cause ear problems that appear as decreased hearing, ringing in the ears, dizziness, spinning sensations, or lack of coordination. In addition to its desired action, SDZ Tobramycin (Tobramycin) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause change in sputum color, coughing, dry mouth, and taste changes. It may cause loss of voice, sore throat or mouth, trouble speaking, and voice changes or loss of voice. It may cause feeling unwell, muscle aches, and runny nose. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to tobramycin, or any component of the formulation. Taking SDZ Tobramycin (Tobramycin) during pregnancy may be harmful to the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. If you're planning a pregnancy, become pregnant, or are breastfeeding, contact your family doctor. A treatment with SDZ Tobramycin (Tobramycin) requires regular monitoring by a doctor. Be sure to see your doctor for all regularly scheduled appointments.SDZ Tobramycin (Tobramycin)
