Description
Triesence (Triamcinolone) is a corticosteroid agent. It is typically used to treat joint pain, swelling and stiffness in inflammatory disorders such as rheumatoid arthritis. It is also for the treatment of various allergic disorders including asthma, blood disorders, hormone problems, rheumatic fever, and problems associated with digestive system, kidneys, lungs or skin. It may also have other uses.

Triesence (Triamcinolone)'s dosage depends on the condition being treated. Your doctor will administer Triesence (Triamcinolone) to you in a hospital or clinical setting. For Intramuscular (into the muscle tissue) or Intra-articular (into a joint) use Only. Not FOR INTRAVENOUS, INTRADERMAL, INTRAOCULAR, EPIDURAL, OR INTRATHECAL USE. WARNING: This medication should be used with caution in patients with congestive heart failure (the heart is unable to pump blood around the body properly), hypertension (high blood pressure), or renal (kidneys) insufficiency. Use with caution in patients with gastrointestinal diseases due to perforation risk. In addition to its desired action, Triesence (Triamcinolone) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause hives, difficulty breathing, swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat It may cause increased pain or swelling, joint stiffness, fever, eye pain, eye problems It may cause rapid weight gain, shortness of breath, stomach cramps, vomiting, diarrhea, bloody stools It may cause severe headache, ringing in your ears, dizziness, nausea, pain behind your eyes, stomach pain, lightheadedness Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to triamcinolone or any component of the formulation Taking Triesence (Triamcinolone) during pregnancy may be harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. Pregnant women should not use this product. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant or breastfeeding, contact your family doctor. A treatment with Triesence (Triamcinolone) requires regular monitoring by a doctor.
