Description

Critic Aid clear (White Petrolatum) is a moisturizer agent. It is typically used to treat or prevent dry, rough, scaly, itchy skin and minor skin irritations (such as diaper rash, skin burns from radiation therapy). It may also have other uses.

Additional information

Critic Aid clear (White Petrolatum) is typically used twice daily (morning and night). However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often than prescribed. If you miss a dose, contact your pharmacist. Do not take by mouth. This ointment is for use only on the skin. Do not use this medicine on open wounds. Clean and dry the affected area. Apply a thin layer liberally enough to cover yet visualize the skin. Do not cover the treated skin area unless your doctor tells you to.

WARNING: Avoid contact with eyes. Consult a physician if condition worsens or does not improve in 7 days. Keep this and all drugs out of reach of children.
 
In addition to its desired action, Critic Aid clear (White Petrolatum) may cause some side effects, notably:
It may cause itching, peeling, or dry skin. 
 
Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to any component of the formulation. Critic-Aid® Clear Ointment is not to be applied over deep or puncture wounds or lacerations.
 
Taking Critic Aid clear (White Petrolatum) during pregnancy may be harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. Pregnant women should not use this product. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant, contact your family doctor.
 
A treatment with Critic Aid clear (White Petrolatum) requires regular monitoring by a doctor. Be sure to see your doctor for all regularly scheduled appointments.Critic Aid clear (White Petrolatum)
