Description
Apo Anastrozole (Anastrozole) is an anticancer agent. It is typically used to treat breast cancer in women after menopause. It may also have other uses.

Apo Anastrozole (Anastrozole) is typically used once daily. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed. If you forget a dose, contact your pharmacist. Administer at the same time each day, taken with or without food. WARNING: It should not be used as monotherapy (alone) in premenopausal females with breast cancer. In addition to its desired action, Apo Anastrozole (Anastrozole) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause cardiac problems, hypertension (increased blood pressure), skin rash, hot flushes It may cause stomach and intestinal distress, nausea, vomiting It may cause depression, fatigue, headache, mood disorder, pain It may cause arthralgia (joint stiffness), arthritis (swelling and tenderness of one or more of your joints), osteoporosis (weak bones), back pain, increased cough, pharyngitis (sore throat) Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to anastrozole or any component of the formulation, pregnancy, breastfeeding Taking Apo Anastrozole (Anastrozole) during pregnancy is harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. Pregnant women should not use this product. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant or breastfeeding, contact your family doctor. A treatment with Apo Anastrozole (Anastrozole) requires regular monitoring by a doctor.
