Description
Apo Beclomethasone AQ (Beclomethasone) is a corticosteroid agent. It is typically used to relieve symptoms of sneezing, runny, stuffy, or itchy nose (rhinitis). It is also used to prevent nasal polyps (swelling of the lining of the nose) after nasal polyp removal surgery. It may also have other uses.

Apo Beclomethasone AQ (Beclomethasone) is typically used twice daily. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed. If you forget a dose, contact your pharmacist. It is usually given as one or two inhalations in each nostril twice daily. Shake well prior to each use. Prior to initial use, prime pump 6 times (or until fine spray appears), repeat priming if product not used for ≥7 days. Spray in nostril (s), avoid spraying in eyes or mouth. Nasal applicator and dust cap may be washed in warm water and dry thoroughly. WARNING: Avoid nasal corticosteroid use in patients with recent nasal (nose) surgery or nasal (nose) trauma until healing has occurred. Do not use in the presence of untreated localized infection involving the nose. In addition to its desired action, Apo Beclomethasone AQ (Beclomethasone) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause sneezing, runny or stuffy nose, dryness or irritation in your nose or throat, It may cause nausea, headache, feeling light-headed, unpleasant taste or smell, It may cause itching or rash Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to beclomethasone or any component of the formulation Taking Apo Beclomethasone AQ (Beclomethasone) during pregnancy may be harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. Pregnant women should not use this product. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant or breastfeeding, contact your family doctor. A treatment with Apo Beclomethasone AQ (Beclomethasone) requires regular monitoring by a doctor.
