Description
Apo Cefadroxil (Cefadroxil) is an antibiotic. It is typically used to treat infections caused by certain bacteria. It helps to kill or control the growth of bacteria that may cause infections of the lung, throat, skin, or bladder. It may also have other uses.

Apo Cefadroxil (Cefadroxil) is typically used one to two times per day. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed. If you miss a dose, contact your pharmacist. Administer without regards to meals, administration with food may diminish stomach upset. WARNING: Use with caution in patients with a history of penicillin allergy. Prolonged use may result in fungal or bacterial superinfection (additional infection) In addition to its desired action, Apo Cefadroxil (Cefadroxil) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause stomach upset or pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stiff or tight muscles, joint pain, It may cause feeling restless or hyperactive It may cause unusual or unpleasant taste in your mouth Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to cefadroxil, any component of the formulation, or other cephalosporins Animal reproduction studies have failed to demonstrate a risk to the fetus and there are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant or breastfeeding, contact your family doctor. A treatment with Apo Cefadroxil (Cefadroxil) requires regular monitoring by a doctor.
