Description
Apo Erlotinib (Erlotinib) is an anticancer agent. It is typically used once daily for the treatment of metastatic (that has spread to other regions) non–small cell lung cancer, and as a first-line treatment of locally advanced, unresectable, or metastatic pancreatic cancer in combination with other medications. It may also have other uses.

Apo Erlotinib (Erlotinib) is typically used once daily for the treatment of metastatic non–small cell lung cancer, and as a first-line treatment of locally advanced, unresectable, or metastatic pancreatic cancer in combination with other medications. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed. If you miss a dose, contact your pharmacist. Administer on an empty stomach at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after the ingestion of food. Avoid grapefruit and grapefruit juice. Maintain adequate nutrition and hydration, unless instructed to restrict fluid intake. WARNING: hematologic disease (blood count disturbances), stomach and intestinal disease and perforation, toxicity in the liver, kidneys, ocular and pulmonary were reported in few cases. In addition to its desired action, Apo Erlotinib (Erlotinib) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause chest pain, fatigue, hair losses, weight loss, urinary tract infection. It may cause fever, skin rash, vertigo, dizziness, blurred vision, muscle pain, weakness. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to erlotinib or any component of the formulation. Taking Apo Erlotinib (Erlotinib) during pregnancy may be harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. Pregnant women should not use this product. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant, contact your family doctor.
