Description
Apo Frovatriptan (Frovatriptan) is a painkiller agent. It is typically used for the acute treatment of migraine (severe headache) by adults. For use only by patients with a clear diagnosis of migraine. Not indicated for prevention of migraine attacks. It may also have other uses.

Apo Frovatriptan (Frovatriptan) is typically used once to three times daily. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed. If you miss a dose, contact your pharmacist. Administer with or without food. WARNING: It may cause an increased risk of serious (and potentially fatal) adverse cardiovascular thrombotic (clotting) events, including fatal MI (heart attack) and stroke. It may cause an increased risk of serious cerebral/subarachnoid hemorrhage and stroke (some fatal), it may cause an increase in blood pressure and this is experienced to a greater extent in elderly subjects than in younger subjects. These events may occur at anytime during therapy and without warning. In addition to its desired action, Apo Frovatriptan (Frovatriptan) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause flushing, hot or cold flashes, chest pain, palpitations It may cause dizziness, fatigue, headache, drowsiness, anxiety It may cause musculoskeletal pain Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to frovatriptan or any ingredient in the formulation. Ischemic coronary artery disease (e.g., angina pectoris which is chest pain, history of MI which is a heart attack, documented silent ischemia, lack of blood and oxygen delivered to an organ), congenital heart disease, atherosclerotic disease (buildup of fats, cholesterol and other substances in and on your artery walls), management of migraine, severe hepatic (liver) impairment. Taking Apo Frovatriptan (Frovatriptan) during pregnancy may be harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. There is no available data regarding the harm of Apo Frovatriptan (Frovatriptan) for the fetus, therefore it is not recommended to use it. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant or breastfeeding, contact your family doctor. A treatment with Apo Frovatriptan (Frovatriptan) requires regular monitoring by a doctor.
