Description
Apo Hydralazine (Hydralazine) is an antihypertensive agent. It is typically used for the management of moderate to severe hypertension (high blood pressure). It is not recommended for the initial treatment of hypertension. It may also have other uses.

Apo Hydralazine (Hydralazine) is typically used four times daily for the management of moderate to severe hypertension. The dose is adjusted every 2 to 4 days or depending on the treatment regimen. Note: Not recommended for the initial treatment of hypertension. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed. If you miss a dose, contact your pharmacist. It should be taken with food for better effect of the medication. WARNING: cardiovascular diseases, should be used with caution in elderly patient not to cause severe decrease in blood pressure. Use with caution in patient with hepatic (liver) and renal (kidney) impairment. In addition to its desired action, Apo Hydralazine (Hydralazine) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause constipation, nausea, abdominal pain, tremor. It may cause weight loss, depression, fever, skin rash, headache. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to hydralazine or any component of the formulation, in case different heart and pulmonary diseases are present the patient can’t use Apo Hydralazine (Hydralazine) (coronary artery disease, mitral valve rheumatic heart disease, myocardial insufficiency due to mechanical obstruction, pulmonary hypertension). Taking Apo Hydralazine (Hydralazine) during pregnancy may be harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. Pregnant women should not use this product. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant, contact your family doctor.
