Description
Apo Selegiline (Selegiline) is an enzyme blocker agent. It is typically used to help control the symptoms of Parkinson’s disease (a disorder of the nervous system that causes difficulties with movement, muscle control, and balance) in people who are taking levodopa and carbidopa combination. It may also have other uses.

Apo Selegiline (Selegiline) is typically used twice per day. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed. If you forget a dose, contact your pharmacist. WARNING: Do not take Apo Selegiline (Selegiline) later in the day because it may interfere with sleep. Use with caution in patient with liver and renal (kidney) problems. Use caution in patients with uncontrolled high blood pressure, chest pain (angina), the sensation of feeling your heartbeat (palpitations) or an abnormal heartbeat, if you are being treated for any mental illness, anxiety or sleep problems In addition to its desired action, Apo Selegiline (Selegiline) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause dizziness, abdominal pain, dry mouth It may cause nausea, stomach upset, trouble sleeping, and headache Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to selegiline or any component of the formulation, concomitant use of meperidine. Taking Apo Selegiline (Selegiline) during pregnancy may be harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. Pregnant women should not use this product. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant or breastfeeding, contact your family doctor.
