Description
Apo Travoprost Timop PQ (Travoprost Timolol) is an antiglaucoma agent. It is typically used to treat high pressure inside the eye due to glaucoma (open angle-type) or other eye diseases (e.g., ocular hypertension). It may also have other uses.

Apo Travoprost Timop PQ (Travoprost Timolol) is typically used as one drop in the affected eye(s) once daily. However, your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often, than prescribed. If you miss a dose, contact your pharmacist. Wash hands prior to and following use. Remove contact lenses prior to administration, wait 15 minutes before re-inserting. Tilt head back, pull down lower eyelid and instill drop into pocket between eyelid and eye, gently close the eyelid for 2 minutes after application. Avoid touching bottle tip. Separate administration of other ophthalmic agents by 5 minutes WARNING: Do not use it more than once a day. Use caution with history of severe anaphylaxis to allergens (a severe, potentially life-threatening allergic reaction). Hypersensitivity may occur. Discontinue use if signs of hypersensitivity or a serious reaction occur. Use with caution in patients with diabetes mellitus, cardiac problems, myasthenia gravis (disease affecting the muscles that move the eyes and eyelids). Use with caution in patients with renal (kidney) impairment In addition to its desired action, Apo Travoprost Timop PQ (Travoprost Timolol) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause ocular hyperemia (eye problem usually manifested by redness of the eye), abnormal sensation in eyes, dry eyes, eye irritation, eye pain Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to travoprost, timolol, or any other component of the formulation, airway diseases (like asthma, which is a lung disease.), cardiac (heart) problems, women who are pregnant or attempting to become pregnant. Taking Apo Travoprost Timop PQ (Travoprost Timolol) during pregnancy is harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. Pregnant women should not use this product. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant or breastfeeding, contact your family doctor. A treatment with Apo Travoprost Timop PQ (Travoprost Timolol) requires regular monitoring by a doctor.
