Description
Auro Atomoxetine (Atomoxetine) is an antidepressant. It is typically used to treat attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). ADHD is mental health disorder that can cause above-normal levels of hyperactive and impulsive behavior. It may also have other uses.

Auro Atomoxetine (Atomoxetine)'s dosage changes depending on the condition (usual range: 40 mg - 100 mg). Your doctor or pharmacist may have suggested a schedule that is more appropriate for you. It can be taken with or without food. Swallow the whole capsule with a full glass of water. Important: Follow the instructions on the label. Do not use more of this product, or more often than prescribed. Do not open the capsules. If you miss a dose, contact your pharmacist. WARNING: Atomoxetine may cause some people to experience unusual feelings of aggression, hostility, or anxiety. They may have hallucinations or have impulsive or disturbing thoughts of harming themselves. Use with caution in patients with liver disease, dose may be adjusted accordingly. Atomoxetine may cause serious cardiovascular events including sudden death in children and adolescents and sudden death, stroke, and heart attacks in adult patients with pre-existing structural heart abnormalities or other serious heart problems. These events may occur at anytime during therapy and without warning. In addition to its desired action, Auro Atomoxetine (Atomoxetine) may cause some side effects, notably: It may cause constipation, decreased appetite, dry mouth, nausea, vomiting, or stomach pain. It may cause erectile dysfunction (trouble getting or keeping an erection) or reduced sex drive, painful menstruation. It may cause an increase in blood pressure (hypertension), increase in heart rate, or a low blood pressure that happens when you stand up from sitting or lying down (orthostatic hypotension). Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to Atomoxetine or any component of the formulation, use of monoamine oxidase inhibitors (antidepressants) or within 14 days of stopping it, narrow-angle glaucoma (increased pressure in the eye), current or history of pheochromocytoma (tumor of the adrenal gland found on top of the kidneys), severe heart or vascular disorders in which the condition would be expected to deteriorate with clinically important increases in blood pressure (e.g., 15 to 20 mm Hg) or heart rate (e.g., 20 beats/minute). Taking Auro Atomoxetine (Atomoxetine) during pregnancy may be harmful for the baby. Women of childbearing potential should use an effective contraceptive method. Pregnant women should not use this product. If you're planning a pregnancy or become pregnant or breastfeeding, contact your family doctor.
